Today is a ‘working’ rest day. We hiked up a 1000’ this morning to acclimatize a bit more. I went with Phu Tashi to his village of Dingboche to visit his family and have some lunch.  We are high up the Khumbu Valley now. Only low shrubs growing, rocky and windblown.

	Sandhosh Kumar (India) 27, presently living in Singapore for 11 years. Has climbed Kilimanjaro, Cho Oyu, Mt. Blanc, and hiked to BC Everest. His profession is in banking. Passions: mountain climbing, endurance.

	Mayk Schega (Germany) 46, has climbed 6 of 7 summits including Mt. Kosziusko and Carstenz Pyramid, Cho Oyu and mts. in Alps. He owns a company in Munich for temporary work and direct placement. Passions: mountaineering, mountain biking, biking expeditions and travel.
