Aconcagua, Argentina


Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the world outside of the Himalayas. It stands at 22,856 feet (6,962m) and is situated in the Argentinian Andes near the border with Chile. It is one of the 7 summits (highest mountain on each continent) and as a result is sought after by many international climbers.
